Wave of Worship was established in years 2003 in California USA by Rev. Dr. Bola Arowolo. He is the International President of International Worship Commission a ministry God called him into in 1979 after a 6-hour worship encounter he had with God at the point of death.

He was in his last year in College as an architectural student when he became very sick nigh to death. He suffered from chronic ulcer of the intestine that nearly took his life.

On that faithful night, it was obvious to him that he was going to die. He knelt down and grabbed his guitar with a deadly grip and leaned on it worshiping the Lord. He kept on saying "Lord if I will die today, I will die worshiping you." From 10pm that night till 4am in the morning the battle was fought and won. God stepped into his room, called him by his first name, healed him and commissioned him to take worship to the nations.

Since that day, Rev. Bola has not relented in taking True Worship from one nation to the other. The Lord gave him two instructions:

1. To Teach true Worship

2. To Lead the nations in True Worship.

Wave of worship is the Mission Arm of International Worship Commission .

The primary aim of Wave of Worship is to Teach and Lead Worship; To  foster unity in the body of Christ world-wide and to sustain the presence of God in every community and nation. We also  devote time to teaching the body of Christ how to raise National Leaders with Perfect Hearts of Worship in every nation on the face of the earth.Wave of Worship is a tool for global evangelism.

Wave of Worship is a concept patterned after the Tabernacle of David. It is a response to fulfill the call for the restoration of the Tabernacle of David spoken of in  the Book of Amos chapter 9:11 and Acts 15: 16-17

"In that day I will raise the Tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close the breaches thereof; and i will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old; that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all heathen, which are called by my name ,saith the Lord that does this.

 (Numbers 24:14; Isaiah 43:7, Acts 15:16-17.

The Concept is designed such that 24hour worship will never cease in every nation of the world until Jesus Christ returns again to rule and reign in the world forever.

Wave of Worship is growing in leaps and bound s since we took off in year 2003. We started from Lake Elsinore to San Bernardino in 2004, Pass Region (Comprising of seven cities namely: Yucaipa, Calimesa, Oak Valley, Cherry Valley, Beaumont, Banning and Cabazon) in 2005, High Desert (Comprising of Eight Cities namely: Hisperia, Apple Valley, Bear Valley, Victorville, Adelanto, Barstow, Palmdale and Lancaster) 2005, Kaduna and Lokoja (Nigeria), 2005, 60 Hour non stop Wave of worship at Azusa Centennial Celebration in Los Angeles in 2006, Palm Springs in 2006, Navajo Nation in 2006, Los Angles in 2013, Kenya Wave of Worship in 2015, Global Wave of Worship for Nigeria in 2015, Philadelphia Wave of Worship and Huston Wave of Worship 2018 respectively. 

We are preparing for 2019 San Bernardino Wave of worship. This is an effort to REVERSE the Curses in the City.

All members are expected to take membership course and  also be ready to participate in at least one Worship Mission annually.

International Worship College is the arm of the ministry that trains and admits members. We have three courses that have been designed for every member to take.

1. Worshipers Certificate Course

2.. Worshipers Intermediate Course

3. Worshipers advance Diploma Course.

(The courses are available on line in every nation) Pastors and church leaders will find the courses  beneficial to their ministries.

These courses will prepare and certify you as a minister of Worship. Our certificates will earn you the opportunity needed to work as a minister of the gospel after you might have been ordained by the International Worship Commission (the arm of the ministry that issues ordination certificates to member.)
